Amazon has launched the Kindle Fire HD 7 tablet along with Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch version. The new Kindle Fire HD 7 tablet is similar to 8.9-inch tablet with the only difference being the screen.The Kindle Fire HD 7 will run an IPS screen at 1280 x 800 resolution.
The 7-inch Kindle Fire packs 8GB of storage, a 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 7-inch 1024×600 169 ppi IPS touchscreen display, single band WiFi, and support for USB 2.0. The Kindle Fire HD (also seven inches in size) boasts a 7-inch 10-point capacitive touch 1280×800 display, up to 32GB of storage space, dual-band WiFi, USB 2.0, MicroHDMI, a 1.5GHz OMAP4470 SoC, and a front-facing camera.
It features Dolby Audio with Stereo speakers , dual Antenna WiFi and according to Amazon’s claims it is 40% faster in data transfers compared to the iPad 3, No microSD card lot, 11 hours of battery life, Free Skype HD Video Calls , Facebook Integration, Email client, Amazon Silk browser, Bluetooth and microHDMI out.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7” can be purchased with the price tag of $199 for 16GB version and $249 for the 32GB version.
Both the Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablets will be released in the US starting on 14th September, 2012.
