On Saturday morning California’s central coastal area was hit by a moderate earthquake. Though the area where the earthquake was felt is considerably large but no injuries or damages were reported.

Government regulators have been called by a consumer advocacy group to ban a type of surgical mesh which is used to treat pelvic collapse. They say that it exposes patients to serious risks.
