Randy Jackson to stay on American Idol
Randy Jackson has officially left the Judging panel of American Idol. But he will still remain on the American Idol as a “mentor” after negotiations with Enrique Iglesias.
According to TMZ he will be as “mentor” and would work behind the scene for
upcoming season of the show.
He has agreed a deal with Fox to stay on as a judge after negotiations with Enrique Iglesias fell though, according to Deadline.
Appearing to confirm the news, his former co-star Simon Cowell tweeted:
