Famous rapper Drake has turned basketball coach. He has become the mentor after approving to coach an alumni game at the University of Kentucky.
Rapper Drake has been a longtime supporter of The Kentucky Wildcats, and in 2009 he put on a special performance for the players on their first day of practice.
Drake was made an honorary member of the franchise last season when he was presented with a prestigious national championship ring, engraved with his nickname Drizzy, after the men’s college team took home the title in early 2012.
Now the rapper will step onto the court and put his gaming skills to the test on 15th September, when he coaches the institution’s best at the Rupp Arena.
He wrote on Twitter.com,
“Coaching at Kentucky Sept 15!”
