The famous star Halle Berry is ready to star in ‘The Hive’. The “X-Men” star has committed to starring in ‘The Hive’, which Brad Anderson will direct this summer.
The actress will take on the lead role in the film, about a 911 emergency operator who helps to save a teenager from a disturbed killer, despite her own fears.
”I’m thrilled to be working with Halle on this. It’s a formidable role for an equally formidable actress.”
Producers Robert Stein and Michael Helfant added:
”Ms. Berry has always been our first choice to star in ‘The Hive,’ and we’re thrilled that we were able to put this together in and around Los Angeles with the help of the California Tax Incentive.”
Berry Halle was formerly attached to the film when Joel Schumacher was set to direct but pulled out when Brad signed on in January citing personal scheduling issues.
The script is written by Rich D’Ovidio, which is based on an original story he wrote with Nicole D’Ovidio and Jon Bokencamp.
Bradley Gallo will co-produce for Troika Pictures alongside Jeff Graup, while Philip M. Cohen and William Gallo will serve as executive producers.
