The ’27 Hours’ star James Franco has been star in the movie ‘Homefront’ along with Jason Statham. The movie is directed by Gary Fielder and written by ‘The Expendables’ star Sylvester Stallone.
The movie follows Phil Broker (Jason) who moves his family to a quiet town but finds it overrun with violence, drug traffickers and an evil meth magnate named Gator (James).
Co-executive producer Avi Lerner said:
”I cannot think of a better group to put this film on the big screen. Sly’s script is fantastic, James and Jason are remarkable actors and Gary really knows how direct this type of film. We start production at the end of September in New Orleans.”
This is another Jason’ action movie, he recently insisted he tries to experiment with other genres just to experience something he hasn’t done before.
He said:
”I do try and look for something that I haven’t done before in a creative way. But everyone knows, if they’ve seen any of the silly action films that I’ve done, whether you want to call them that or not, then if you like action I tend to do more of those than anything else. So we won’t lie about that.”
