Renowned actress Kristen Stewart is now going to appear in ‘Lie Down In Darkness’.
The actress has landed the lead role in the indie “Lie Down in Darkness,” reportedly beating out Jennifer Lawrence for the part.
‘Lie Down In Darkness’ tells the story of beautiful Peyton Loftis whose mother is jealous of her and whose father harbors incestuous feelings towards her. She is also constantly compared to her crippled sister.
According to Vulture.com, the actress will take on the lead role in the indie adaptation of William Styron’s 1951 novel of the same name.
‘Crazy Heart’ director Scott Cooper will helm the project with Jeff Sharp as producer.
