The country group, Lady Antebellum have recorded a new Christmas album. The new album entitled as ‘On This Winter’s Night’ will be released on 22nd October, 2012.
Lady Antebellum group’s – made up of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood – new album ‘On This Winter’s Night’ will feature 11 traditional Christmas songs and one original song.
Dave reveals the album was recorded in the summer, and to get into a holiday spirit they decorated the studio.
He said:
”We recorded this album in two sections, but both times were in the summertime.”
”It is always weird to be in the studio working on Christmas music in June and July, so we decorated the entire studio, we really did. We brought out lights, fake trees and decorated the place to get in the Christmas spirit. You’d leave the studio, and it’d be 100 degrees out in Nashville, but nonetheless, a great experience.”
The album is the band’s second festive offering, following on from 2010′s ‘A Merry Little Christmas’.
