Famous pop diva Lady Gaga has collaborated with the rapper Kendrick Lamar. They revealed that they are officially working on for his upcoming debut album.
The Poker Face hitmaker has been vocal about her love for the hip-hop star recently, and they hung out together backstage at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois last month (Jul12).
Announcing the news on Twitter.com on Wednesday (15Aug12), Gaga writes,
“I am so excited to announce that a record I’ve been working on has now become collaboration with @KendrickLamar for His Album.”
Describing the inspiration behind the track, she adds,
“I wrote Partynauseous about Jakarta, and my relationship with that country. Wishing I could ‘get high with the enemy’ and make peace.
“Once @kendricklamar + I started talking about life + his forward thinking views about love + hip hop, the song became something more.”
Partynauseous is likely to be Lamar’s next single from his new album.
