The singer Taylor swift has got the nominations in the ‘Female Artist of the Year’ and ‘Musical Event’ categories. For ‘Entertainer of the Year’ award Taylor is competing against Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley.
Church earned four major nominations for ‘Album of the Year’, ‘Music Video, ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Single of the Year’. Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum and Dierks Bentley have also received nods in multiple categories.
The nominees in the CMA’s top five categories were announced live by Aldean and Luke Bryan on Good Morning America on 5th September.
The awards will be handed out on 1st November, 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee. The music ceremony will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
